Youth Quake 2007

Hey guys
So I have realized that it has been a long time since I have posted, I am sorry about that, but Youth Quake has been taking up a lot of my time and school work as well. Briercrest is awesome this year. I am back in dorms and graduating in April, which is really crazy and so far away.
Last night was Youth Quake Kickoff. It went well and I am still so tired and in a daze that it all happened. One of my main roles yesterday was organizing and transporting all the food into the foyer, I designed some sweet t-shirts, and was in charge of the student team because the other interns were a part of the skit. A lot was on my plate yesterday but it was great. Kickoff started about 20 min late because of video stuff, that was stressful, because our director didnt even know about it till I told him so everything ran behind but it was awesome. The anticipation was there and God was present last night.
Amber asked about the bands and so I am telling everyone to go to:

www.briercrest.ca/ya

It is a pretty sweet site and go look at the guests that we have coming and then read the section, "A Word about our Bands" There you will see the heart of the director and the core team, which I am a part of. We are already taking our theme to play out in our lives and where God wants us to be. It is really exciting.

Hope life is treating you all well!
Your sister,
Kristi

Good for you! I'm impressed with the team's decision. it's gutsy. I applaud the team. hey, by the way, who were the bands you hired and dropped (just for curiousity's sake!)

its a secret!!!
information that doesn't need to be known to everyone. if people knew then some would be disappointed and then wouldn't concentrate on what God has planned for the weekend.

Kristi,

Thanks for the YQ update. I think it's so cool that you're "the boss lady" and made YQ your thing. Thanks for the update. I really appreciate Kevin's explanation and sincerity and am really looking forward to the weekend (BIG bands or not)...yes I'm planning on coming! Love you hon, and praying for you and the rest of the YQ team.

P.S. I really missed you at Thanksgiving. I hope you got all your work done and you know I would love to have you anytime...I promise we would have a hoot!
