Seeing as we're all talking about jobs.....
Well...seeing as we are all talking about jobs... I'm in PEI and I've decided I'm not moving to Edmonton... I'm heading to NYC in a few days and i'm just tempted to stay and nanny (myles has multi-millionaire friends who are looking for nannies).... or.. head home and try and finish off that debt a bit there... it's something you can pray about, but being out here has got me thinking... I need to start taking care of myself instead of just flitting here and there and never saving up and starting over, staying in one place. so... if you could pray for me about that and give me your two sense i'd appreciate it.

nannying is hard work! I have the absolute most amazing employers right now, there paying me a really good salary, the hours are really really good (9 hours a day) and the kids are wonderful! (9 months and 3 years) I am that one nanny out of every 200 that has a good working condition, and still it's hard tiring work! Be careful Amber, if you need to, and I quote "I need to start taking care of myself" nannying is not for you - your not taking care of yourself, your taking care of kids, I had to wait 1/2 an hour today to wipe Regan's (the 9 month old) snot off MY face because the kids just keep you soo bussy! I have a new appreciation for mom's, there some of the most sefless people in the world! However that being said, the most selfless people I know are also the most happy! So nannying may be a great job for you, your great with kids, it may give you a chance to take care of yourself in a different way with out focusing of your self per say. I don't know, I'm just babbeling right now I Just though I'd put my 2 cents in about that, having been a nanny for 3 years and working for 3 different families.
But on a lighter note! Yey you have no deffinate plans! Sounds like an adventure to me, best of luck figuring out what to do! Update your blog with some pictures!!!!
amber!!! good to hear from you. all that i can really say is make sure you are doing this for the right reasons and not just because you don't want to go back home. i think you need to take care of yourself before you take care of anyone. but anyways, enough with me babbling on too.
