I broke myself....
ok well... yesterday some of our Kaleo family went canoeing:
jim, Ben and Danny Badke, Jordan, Nate (Kaleo 2) John Hepting (Kaleo 3) and I all paddled to saltspring and back and then we found the old rope swing half way up maple mountain and decided to go for a jump. (jordan did some crazy jumps and such) As I was jumping the last time my hand slipped and I fell hard into the water and on the way back my middle finger began throbbing and today I went to see a doctor and I found out that it's broken and off the growth plate. tomorrow I go to victoria to see a specialist so if you could pray for my finger... that would be great.

awww.. amber!!! sorry about your finger! hey come visit me in toronto.. i get visitors overnight for 3 nights in a row.. then we can move to joels house!!! ha ha
seriously though the classes im in are right up your alley... minus the crazy partyers everything else is okish.

Well I hope your finger is fixed in Victoria today! It definately didn't look good at the table last ngiht. I'll be praying for it!

I fractured my thumb at the growth plate years ago and I now have one thumb shorter than the other. Anyway- are we broken together? You make the call.

well it turns out that the trip to the specailist was useless! he said there's no point worrying if it's on or off the growth plate as I'm done growing... so he just taped it up and sent me on my way. it's going to hurt for a while (like probably the whole time I'm on the road! but oh well! I shall survive! Thanks for your prayers!

And sarah I'll keep you in mind and give you an email if I head that way (not sure if we're not doing the states route) but ya, I'd love to see you.
