A different way of thinking about it.
I like these.
I especially like that my sister is the one that showed them to me, which means she realizes that not all Christians are so bad...I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that I'm hoping to be compared with a Mac, though. But I suppose I can put up with it. Because these are very cool. (and no, I'm not going to tell you what they are, you'll have to check them out for yourself!)

Christian vs. Christ Follower...
Same thing, different box ;) It's like calling a church service a "gathering" rather then a service, just be sound Post Modern.
Just my 2 cents.
I don't think the point is the word you choose, but the attitude you have. If you'll notice, the two are actually quite different. It's just Christians trying to get out of the box of the right-wing fundamentalist image that most non-Christians automatically jump to. That's why I was excited that my sister was the one to show it to me.
Yup, attitude has a lot to do with it, but these seem to play on words and marketing.
Why do you think the "Christian" is reading all those books, or buying those bumper stickers? Who read The Purpose Driven Life? Why are Christian bookstores selling Jesus socks?
The "ads" seem to be playing on the Modernist vs. Post Modernist view points. And in all fairness, you can't do that considering Post Modernism in a modernist definition is the antithesis of Modernism.
I understand your point of view Julie, I'm just playing the devils advocate here.
