Camp?
hEY ALL!
So I'm chatting with Kailyn right now.........WALLOWING.........because....we don't know weather or not to go back to camp......Ahhh!!!!! I love camp, but honestly it's really hard to keep on picking up and leaving my life in ladner for 4 months and go to camp, maby Jesus ment something like that when he said that the son of God has no place to lay his head, maby it's a sacrifice I should be making for Jesus! I don't know..what do you guys think, are you thinking about going back to camp? And why or why not aren't you going back? Or what arte you thinking oin general on this topic!
I think we should all go back! haha

EVERYONE should go! I know you won't all...but we miss you! It is such a predicament...all I know of Qwanoes is Kaleo, and I know camp won't be anything the same, so I might be bitter about that, and it is so big, that it makes me scared! Also I don't like swimming in the ocean! That would suck to not swim all summer!!! Anyways, here I am urging you to...do i don't know what! TALK TO US PEOPLE!
Is Kailyn going to qwanoes this summer... or am I reading this wrong?
I have no answers about the camp thing - I'm struggling with it myself. Just keep prayin'!

If they want me...MAYBE I'll be there...BUT Someone's gonna have to do some convincing thats for sure! Ashley you would be my hero if you were there! nothing like conditional heroism...okay fine, youre my hero anyways! As for you perhaps not going Melissa! HUMPH is all I have to say. I will wallow by myself.
Hey Kailyn, I'm an Okanagan boy, born and bred, and I understand perfectly how you feel about ocean water. At first I was pretty reluctant too, and then I made this wonderful discovery: IT WASHES OFF! And there are warm (usually) showers right at the beach. So five minutes after you get out you can feel all freshwater again. It works!
As for summer, hmmm. Find out where God is working and go join him there.
Coming from a Saskatechewan boy, you better take this seriously...The ocean water is not bad at all. I spent the last two summers in it, and eventually you grow to love it.
I agree with Jamie about the fact that you get used to it, you really do, I enjoyed myself this summer and last summer all things ocean creeped me out (though I put up a tough face and pretended it didn't, when Dave put that crab in my face near the end of Kaleo I wanted to squeel like a sissy little girl, and then when Jordan hit me in the face with a sand dollar oh boy! it was all I could do to not yell EEWH! GROSS!!!) but you do get used to it after a while, I actually enjoyed dock searches by the end... which are very creepy! As for Jim's comment about the warm showers... I wouldn't bet on the shower's if Jamie's anywhere near by... I happen to remember taking quite a few cold showers this summer!

while it is true that you guys hail from farther from the ocean than me, i still dont believe i will EVER learn to like it - much less tolerate it. ew ocean, salt, yuck. and, admittedly, it DOES wash off - but still! It sticks to you when you are IN the ocean! i do like looking at sea anenomes though. but i hate crunching sand dollars under my feet. only time will tell
i am with you kailyn. i hate the ocean and the way the salt feels on my body. but when it is so hot outside, all you want to do is jump in. last summer, i only went into the water once during staff training for water search procedures. you'll be in artrageous the whole time and won't have time to even go down there during the day. you don't need to learn to like it, i still don't.
