Sorry, I spoke too soon! The short story is, due to the lack of a reliable car and less than expected tax return, here I sit in Winkler! That's right, no trip. So thank-you to all of you who offered up your couches (I'll take a rain cheque!) and we'll catch up soon...

That's ok! I've done that three times already this year... just ask Sheri when she gets home in a couple of days! Take this opportunity to adventurise close to home... do something silly (like your tour de france tradition only different of course) I'd love to see some pictures of what you come up with :)!
