FAR TO EXCITED TO SLEEP!
Ok, so the VERY FIRST COLLIDE, just finished. I am sweaty, smelly, haven't eaten since breakfast, my feet hurt and I AM SO EXCITED FOR LIFE!
I have found my spot in the world! It's Official!
So this huge pre-teen youth rally me and 2 other youth pastors (Rob and Grant) just finished and calling it a success is an understatement. It was so AMAZING! God is so faithful and so good, so many ting could and did go wrong but somehow it all worked out. There were about 200 people (leaders and kids) there from TSAWWASSEN and LADNER there and I just know this is the start of something BIG!
It has already done AMAZING things to Bring all the local churched together despite denomination. You guys this is so huge because it's not just bring pre-teens together, it's bringing everyone! Thru planning for this I have made friends with Pentacostals, Mennonites and everything! haha, And not only that It was amazing to delegate things of to my leaders to friends and see them come thru a hundred percent! My firend Jeff lead the singing/band, and it was out of this world! My 2 friends ashley and erin (and 2 youth) were my go-to people and did the million little things that needed to be done but I forgot about. They did them before I even finished asking and were running around all night, helping me. Judy and her husband( she runs our AWANA PROGRAM) came just to see, have fun and support us. I love how my church surrounded me and supported me with this night. I know it really built us up! Ok I just can't put this into words, but you guys this a BIG thing God is doing here, and He let me be a part of it!
