Ok, so I was lying in bed just 5 min. ago trying to get to sleep early so I can get us insanely earl tomorrow morning to go to worship team practice for church....(I'm playing guitar tomorrow....nervous) and this thought came to my mind
"WERE ALL DOING/Were doing GREAT!"
And now the explanation:
Inspired by my recent conversations with Julia Kristi and Jordan: here are my thoughts of the whole "Sesame Streat Posting thing"
There had been a lot (amby too much) of debating lately on the rough times that follow after Kaleo. So I thought if we talk about how hard it is after Kaleo than we shoudl also talk about how good it is after Kaleo. Julia and I bith agreed today that a lot of us are thriving and doing great! Look @ Michelle! She's getting married!
Guys were all doing GREAT! Do you believe it! Here's a little bit of Admonishment/Affirmation Examples for Ya'll, PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST MORE!
Kailyn- You seem to be doing great! Your learning every kind of soil and plant on the entire earth, you play guitar @ church, you have great room mates and a great boyfriend (hahah) You make me happy every time I TALK TO YOU--> Your a success!
Julia--> Your bussy, loving life, Your gradguating in APRIL CRAZZY! You are a shining example of Jesus to all your classmates and have found a great new church to be involved with and fed from! Your amazing girl!
Krisit--> Ahh.....Kristi, were friends now that we don't live together! I'm looking foreward to seeing you @ christmass! Your thriving @ school, crazzy math person. You have a great community you've involved yourself with @ Briercrest, Making friends wih the Vettera and everything! WHOOT WHOOT for you!
Julie--> Your just like Jesus, you care so deeply for other people and their pain that it seems to even cause you pain, you were on the front lines of ministry in vancouver for a whole year and you wanna go back. You have found your God given talents and are useing them. Your involved with your church Can we hang out soon please? heheh Your stupendus!
Jordan--> Your a "BIBLE COLLEGE STUDENT" and frusterated with it sometimes! Woho that means you think for yourself! You love jesus and have a great girlfriend (eheh again) You serve Kaleo by putting countless hours into this web site, it really is a ministry and wee all appreciate it! You also rock!
Tarchuk! Has a boyfriend (I promise to get thoes C.D.'s for him to you soon) Is soo dedicated to her youth group on friday nights, is Involved in church doing well at school, She's AMAZING! Let's hang out soon too
Britt was doing great! I talked to her every other week, she always had news of someon new she told about Jesus, she loved her new church. She was thriving!
kAITIE-Is a carreer woman! Hehehe soo cool! Involved with her church, And so much fun to be with!
Amber- look @ all the great work you producedd this summer...all thoes video's and such and all the friends you were such a blessing to. I know your having a hard time now....and I hate to tell you this but......YOUR A SUCCESS! ...and hot-lol-
Pam- Ahhh pam, Your doing art @ school and loving it, God has given you such an amazing gift and your useing it all for his glory!
Lisa- She's in AFRICA! enough said-Soo cool!
Bev- what the heck are you up to? I'm sure your doing amazing. Dr. Bev always is!
Aaron- Crazzy man! Your going to Trinadad and Tobago on a missions trip with life force! Your awesome! Have a Blast on the trip!
JimBad! Crazzy your mentoring your third year of Kaleo's and their leaders! AMAZING! and your still such an encouragement to us. Ican picture god saying "My good and faithful one well done!"
Ok, so that's just about 1/2 of Kaleo, I'm getting really tired, but you get the point! I'm sure all of you would say that KALEO and life in general has helped you imensely get to where you are today. It's not just kaleo, it's not just church-IT'S JESUS ACTIVELY WORKING IN OUR LIVES! SOO STINKING COOL! Not that life is perfect or anything, But thoes hard times , there Life! I hope this blog encouraged you guys! Isn't if fun focusing on good stuff!
***********I was reminded today, that when I pray it's just as important to bring the good things happening in our lives to God, to praise him and thank him and stuff as it is to brin g the bad or hard stuff. How often when someone asks for prayer requests do our minds immediately go to how God can help us, or fix things that are wrong or that are hurting us. Thoes are all VALID prayer requests. But I really want my mind set to thinking when someone asks if I ahve any prayer requests "Well Id love it if you guys could all halp mne thank and praise God cuz He is just so faithful and has done this in my life!" We ask people to help us pray for problems, how about we also ask them to help us with PRAISE!!!*****************************
Take 2 secconds and post some admnishments or affirmations about someone! Come on! It'll be fun! Jesus is soo stinking awesome!!!!

I love the phrase from a song by Rich Mullins (who is hanging out with Britt right now), "There's such a thing as Glory, and there are hints of it everywhere." Thanks for pointing out to us the glory of God in the ordinary of life. He is good.

and Andre's Andre.... successful at whatever he does and has a cool girlfriend!
Bryce is going to be a firefighter!
Michelle will have a hubby soon!
Melissa is youth leader extrordinaire and a witness to her family and her boss's family!
Culhum is loved by all and rocks the camp setting!
Dave has the best wife ever and his ultimate job!
James will be a pilot (that's SO cool!)!
And John will be an amazing pastor one day (it's inevitable!)!
Gosh... the list just keeps going!
Melissa - it's great that you wrote this, because I was thinking the same thing the other day! Many Kaleolites have been/are being really successful post-kaleo, and praise God for that! He will continue to work through us, and I'm excited to keep being witness to these things!
We do have our downs, it's part of living in the fallen world. But as our pastor said this morning (Kaitie - we really should post his whole sermon from today!), what matters is how we respond to life's circumstances... if we respond wrong - it's okay 'cause God loves us! But to keep moving forward, we have to determine (with God's help) what are wrong responses were and make them right with God. Hmmm... it was a sweet sermon, I could probably write pages about it!
But let's be thankful for all the things God has allowed is to do thus far!
Amber... remember how He worked so faithfully through Christmas at Lake Cow??!!!
wow!!! this is so encouraging to hear about and how we are ADMONISHING (hehe Jordan) once again. I love you guys.
Melissa - You are one of the greatest person in my life, I LOVE YOU, and I know you love me too because you say it to me all the time. I am so excited to see you when i get home and have a island trip together. you are doing so many amazing things at home and with the youth, you are such an encouragement to me and help me think through things, wouldn't be the same without you.
Julia - one of my bestest friends. we have been through so much together, good and bad but we will always be there for eachother and you are always there for me and have a listening ear. thank you so much for who you are in my life and how you speak into my life and make things make sense. you are almost done Red River and I am so proud of you.
Kailyn (my bestest pal) - i love talking to you and we have so much fun just chatting. i am so glad that you are having an awesome time in Kamloops, I wish I could be there with you making snowmen. keep pressing on! love you and miss our good talks and our random ones too.
ashley - i appreciate your wisdom in the email that you sent me, it made my day and helps me to not be stressed out. thanks for taking time out of your day and writing that for you. love you so much and we really need to get together.

how come your admonishing is so stinking nice? yah wussies. We had to sit through an hour of real admonishment and if this is what you got to do jims gonna hear some.!
The reason why this isn't admonishing is because the girls in Kaleo never did understand what Admonishing was. That is why Kristi bugged me about it in her comment. ;)
This is what you call "Kaleo 03/04 admonishment" and what everyone else calls "encouragement". :)
Anywho...time to pop some sleeping pills! Off to bed I goooooooooo
And....the whole purpose of this blog was to poing out good things! Not to focus on Bad or hard things....not that real admonishment is bad or hard, well it is hard sometimes...ahhh but naeywase........It was to focus on our successes!
