You're Invited!

What:
A BBQ lunch to celebrate the engagement and upcoming wedding of Arthur Bakker and Ashley Tarchuk!

When:
Saturday, June 21st. 10am – 6pm (drop by anytime, or come for the whole day!), lunch will be provided between 12pm and 2pm.

Toasts at 3pm. Feel free to bring thoughts to share! Cake to follow.

Where:
Parksville Community Park/Beach, at the covered group picnic area. Entrance to the park is at Corfield St. and Hwy 19A. Look for balloons!

Make a weekend of it! Camping is available in many areas around Parksville including Rathtrevor Provincial Park and Englishman River Falls.

To Bring:
Lawn chairs (or blanket) to sit on, games, frisbees, bocce, kites, good friends and good conversation!

~Art & Ashley will be married on July 20th at a small ceremony in Golden, BC.

Remembering Brittany

I was walking by the Guest House the other day and saw that Brittany's tree is in bloom! It hasn't been since we first planted it, so it is obviously finally taking root and growing, with four large pink blossoms gracing it. How Brittany loved pink blossoms!

This past weekend, a memorial was opened for Brittany and her brother and his fiancee. You can see a video of the opening at the Winkler Bible Camp website. Brittany's life continues to take root and grow into something beautiful.
