Back in Saskatchewan

Hello Everyone
Well it has definitely been a long time since I have posted anything on here. Currently I am in Saskatchewan, I arrived on Sunday night and started school the next morning at SIAST. I am staying at the Vetter's until I move into my trailer on Friday or Saturday. It was nice and hot in Monday but yesterday it decided that it wanted to be pouring rain. I don't officially start classes until Tuesday and I have monday off, I love public school. It was an interesting transition from camp to school. I left camp on Saturday afternoon and got home around 7pm and then flew to Regina the next afternoon. I still didn't hit me that I was in Caronport and going to school the next morning. Well not much is happening in my life at the moment, except for school and watching some TV at night because I don't have any homework. Hope you are all doing well and once I move in to my trailer I will post some pictures. My new number is 756-5444, it is getting hooked up on Saturday, feel free to call. Adventures at Camp Woods.

Well so here I was today just minding my own business at the water front and here comes a beaver swimming through the water. I've never seen a beaver so close before, he was about 10 feet away from me.

The end is near...

Well, camp is done as of today! SNIFFFFF! So sad...BUT I'm going back to Eagle Bay tomorrow to work for a retreat group. I hate the end of camp! Anyways, enough wailing...I just read all the posts, and yay - I love seeing how you all are doing and what you're up to! I miss you all TONS - not even joking! There were a few times this summer when I'd mope around and wallow about how much I missed you Kaleoites! And the ocean - I miss that soooo much! Mel, your pics make me so jealous!! I want to be there! Anyways, my summer was fantastic! It is good it is done though! My last cabin was HARD, but probably the most incredible week for me, because God changed so many of my girls! One night I was down at the campfire talking and praying with 6 of my girls till 1 am (curfew is 11 pm...)! It was pretty intense! Oh yah, so I spoke at campfire on Wednesday night - God is AMAZING! What can I say...I had pretty much nothing prepared, because I've been sick this last week and my brain doesn't work, but God filled me up with words and they just spilled out! I can't remember too much of what I said, because it totally wasn't me! It's so exciting to have God use me...also I wasn't afraid at all - not one bit! And I think you guys know me well enough to know that that in itself is next to unbelievable! It felt so natural and right that I should be in front of 130 campers, plus 50 staff, sharing my life and my heart! Anyways...I'm tired...there is so much more, but you know how it is so hard to explain everything...so ta ta for now!

Photography trip with my Dad...

Well today my Dad and I took a trip out to the Rocky's to go on a photograph binge. We drove around for a total of 368 KM to get that perfect photo. It was quite fun to hang out with my Dad before he goes back North for work. I posted up some of the best shots that I got on http://www.aeroworks.blogspot.com.

3 weeks in counting before I come back to beautiful British Columbia. :)

Naming kaitie's housey

Hey all,
I need your help naming my house! yes you read it right, apparently its the new thing to do hehe. but ya my friend heard me call it "the homestead" and he said that my house wasnt western enough to call it that. Soooo I need to find a name that suits it and my roommate and I cant think of anything cool we keep making up dorky names like "the chick coop" or "pemberley" from pride and prejudice haha I tried shakey castle but that is way too a-frame for our little housey.
so Im posting pictures with this blog and leaving it up to you. hehe happy naming

Greetings from Sylvan Lake!

Hey all, it has been a while but I'm back to posting. So this fall I am heading back to CBC to continue on with my BA in Youth Work. I have been working at the Scouts Camp just outside Sylvan Lake. I have also found a new hobbie that I spend a fair amount of time on. It's digital photography. Here's a couple of the pictures that I've taken of the praries this summer :)

I have also created another blog to post up some of my best pictures called Aero Works. There is a link to it on the right hand side on the menu bar.

Ok so this one isn't of the praries but I think its a great picture of Kailyn with her John Deere shirt on our old John Deere tractor :)



I'm glad to see that we are all having a great summer with many adventures. I shall continue to pray for you all :)

Me Jordan and Rachel went to the beach and had subway and Sushi! This was the day we flew a kite!!!! Aseagul stole and ate my cookie and I threw my cell phone away on the garbadge can, by accident, don't worry we soom found it coveren in Soya Sauce.......how do I always loose stuff?


Fun times! We went to see Laurel Hubbert, I don't know how to spell her name, but basicaly she's this amazing guuitar player/singer/someone who loves Jesus!

This is me Aaron and Jordan making shadow people.designs when we went to the Tall Ships Festival at the begingin of summer! UIt was awesome! We heard SPANISH Opera comming of of one of the ships and there was a real cannon that shot every hour or so....It was so scarry!

This picture is from CREATION! Possibly one of the bext weeks of my whole summer. I went down with a bunch of Crazzy people from Victoria, but once there stayed with my youth group from home. It was awesome seeing the bands and meeting fun new people!
